Tim +Tri = Baby Love

Warning This post is super long and contains TMI! Read at your own risk!!

As a few of you may or may not know, Tim and I want nothing more than to be parents. We had had a few hard times last year with loosing 2 of our sweet babies. I genuinely questioned if I would be able to muster the courage to try again. Thankfully I have a persistent husband who is so supportive. With his love, and a little( or maybe a lot) of help from modern medicine. Tim and I are THRILLED to announce that we are going to be parents!! WOO HOO!!

I found out in October, 2 days before my 23rd birthday. When I told Tim I was pregnant he said
" Babe I love that you are so excited but I already knew"
Seriously man, that's the epic reaction I get!! I had to laugh a little because he actually really did know. He had been joking about it for about 3 weeks and a few days before we found out he kept saying..."Its cause you are pregnant" I wasn't sure if I loved him telling me that or if I was supposed to be upset at that remark.
We told our families within minutes of finding out but kept everything pretty quite until our doctor decided to "clear" us of the scary zone. Apparently for most people that is 12 weeks.. for us, 17 weeks! BOO! How could I wait that long to share the excitement! I failed! I did tell a few people.

At 18 weeks, my little heart broke. One night about 8ish, I felt like something was wrong.Next thing I knew, I was bleeding. My heart sank, I immediately started crying and yelled for Tim to come in. He called my mom (shes super woman she knows everything I swear) and held me as I cried on the bed. We then called our doctor( who is AMAZING) and headed to the hospital. I cried the whole way there. I was even slightly upset with Tim because he stayed totally cool and kept telling me that everything was alright and I knew I was about to disappoint him again. When we were all checked in they put us in a room and we waited and waited. Tim kept trying to make me laugh by singing random songs or saying funny movie quotes. I didn't know how to take him. After 4 and a half hours of being poked and violated, they gave me an ultrasound! I was so excited until they wheeled me away without Tim! WHAT THE!! I cant do this by myself why take me from my husband come on now people!! The tech asked me if I wanted to know the sex of the baby.. I told her no. ( Am I a nut case, who waits to find out the gender with the 1st baby) I blame the hormones, fear, and possibly the fact that it was 1 in the morning. They brought me back in with Tim where he just came and held my hand while we waited for our results from the ultrasound
( They would not even tell us if they could see a heartbeat until a radiologist came in to read the results to us..I was super not ok with this!) Tim was so sweet in making sure that I was comfortable and that I was the best I possibly could be.. We waited until 2am ish and Tim had had enough. He went and got a nurse for me and made her tell me if the baby was ok. All she could tell me was that there was a heartbeat. RELIEF!!! They released us shortly after that and we went home.

One week later we were scheduled for our gender ultrasound..the night before, I could hardly sleep. Excited was an understatement!!! We went to work and it felt like the longest day of my life. (Our appointment was at 3) My sweet little momma drove down from Snowflake to be there with us for the big unveiling. When we got in the room, I sorta worried about things because of the week before. The first thing our tech did was show me the heartbeat and I got tears in my eyes. Our Tech was fabulous. She showed us all the little parts and organs. She set my mind at ease by telling me that everything looked perfect. Suddenly in the middle of her sentence she says.. Oh its a girl. ( I was looking at Tim when she said it so I snapped my head to look at her and said " what did you just say?" She said " You're having a little girl!" Oh the tears in my eyes. I looked at Tim to see his reaction..
"I knew it." He just smiled at me so big! He was so excited. I couldn't help but smile. ( Tim had NEVER called the baby 'him" or even 'it'. ) This baby was ALWAYS a girl to Tim. He knew it!! He was so excited. He wanted a girl so bad and now I am happy to say that Tim and I are so excited that we will be the proud parents of a sweet baby GIRL!! It really is such a blessing and we love her so much already. I love every single second of being pregnant, and I am so grateful for every ache, pain, and sleepless night!!! We are so blessed to have the chance to be parents. And we are grateful for the trials that we have had in order to get to this point. It makes everything all the better!!

And because No post is complete with out a picture..This is THE ONLY one I have of my belly.. It kinda just looks like a chub but I promise there is a baby.. 15 weeks pregnant here.

Family Pics 2011..

Tim has always been so sweet to humor me and take pictures. We hadn't had "family" pictures taken since we were first married so for Christmas I finally got some update pictures for mi casa. We work with one of the sweetest photographers in all the land. She is sooo talented and patient. I will tell ya'll a secret, trying to get a normal picture out of Tim and I is nearly impossible. Mostly because we feel so awkward taking pictures and bust up laughing every 3 seconds and the poses we come up with are quite the failures. Krista and her hubby David were INCREDIBLE to work with and I could not be happier with the results. If you want her info, holler at me you won't be disappointed. Here are a few of the ones we love.

And here are a few of the candid shots that Krista snagged while Tim and I were goofing off. Love them!

This one is Tim's brilliant idea. hahah

Tim was being a vampire. You know you're jealous of this. haha

We had such a blast working with her! I can hardly wait to update our picture frames. SCORE...

Love me some Sundays!

Sunday is easily my most favorite day of the week and I will tell you why..
1. I get to hold Tim's hand and listen to him sing in sacrament. ( He hates that I stop singing and look at him "funny" but his voice is one of the first things I fell in love with. How lucky am I that I get to sit next to my very own Michael Buble?)
2. I have the coolest calling ever! I was teaching with Tim and we taught the 7-8 year olds...Now that he has his new calling I was moved to a new class. I teach the 6-7 year olds in Primary. I have a GINORMOUS class and most of them love to be the center of attention. (loudest class EVER!!! ) My first 2 weeks really made me question if I was capable of teaching productively. I had convinced myself that I would not be able to handle that many kidos. I felt SOOO incapable and unworthy of such a great responsibility.
Let me tell you what though, I am so glad I have an amazing primary presidency that had a lot more faith in me than I did in myself. I LOVE my primary class. I can not wait to get in and teach them! I LOVE that my little girls find me before I get to the primary room. They ask to hold my hand or sit by me, they beg me to sit on my lap and cuddle in close when its cold in the primary room. ( Its the coldest room in the building, they even keep a stash of blankets for the kids). I LOVE that my little boys invite me to go watch them play soccer or come play basketball at their house. haha kids are the greatest. I am learning soo much from these little angles. I really love working with them!
3. Sunday naps. I am one lazy Susan when it comes to Sundays. I can make it through normal days without a nap but Sundays are something else. Half way through the day, I fall asleep wherever I am planted. Something is so wonderful about Sunday naps.
4. NO WORK! My job is pretty awesome but having a day with Tim not working basically rocks my socks. I love not having to do anything! Writing this I am sorta feeling like a Sunday Slob. hah don't judge! My house is a mess right now and I could probably be doing laundry but its Sunday... and therefore its cool if I don't worry about it.
Conclusion. ... SUNDAYS ARE THE BEST DAYS EVER!

Discovery

I went to the grocery store to buy mascara today. I walked around while I waited for the Saturday lines to die down a little. I normally try to grab a few cans of fruit, beans, or meat every time I go to walmart as a food storage add in. As I wandered the isles, I discovered this lovely tempting bottle of happiness.. and without thinking, it went into my cart.
When I got home I started putting things away. There it was just staring at me saying " I am worth the calories just go for it" Clearly I am easily tempted because I quickly remembered the delicious strawberries that had been screamin my name all day from the fridge. Tim started laughing when he saw that I was covering my strawberries in the heavenly goo..

And I am just now discovering that this glorious chocolate hazelnut heaven is the reason that my tummy hurts. I cant just eat one....Bad discovery.

In a nutshell

I have not posted in awhile, I do better writing things down in a personal journal but since I have recently decided to delete my facebook I will try to keep my few faithful readers up to date.... so in a nutshell...

In January my 22 year old Tim was called to be the Elders Quorum President in our ward. The night he was called, I laid in bed thinking to myself how funny life is. It is interesting to me how we are not in charge of our lives, only our decisions. The consequence of our decision is based on our ability to choose right and wrong.. If we are doing what we are asked to do and making good decisions, a higher source guides our lives step by step. Often taking our hands and placing us just where we should be. Tim constantly reminds me to do the things I am supposed to. ( Not that I need help with that people just sometimes I forget my tithing on the table or I may have left my primary book on the couch..twice.. don't judge me!) I could not go through this life with out him. I am just sure I would be lost. He amazes me.

February- Tim started his new job at infusion soft which is totally rockin his world. He LOVES it! I cant wait to ask him how work is going at the end of each day. He gets so excited to tell me about his day and what he has learned. I never hear a bad thing about it. They even give him breakfast every day.. WHAT THE HARRY! WHY DON'T I GET BREAKFAST!? Oh wait, that's because I am lazy and just don't want to get up to make it. We feel so blessed that he gets to have a job he loves...and free breakfast every day! YAY WOO HOO!

Nala got a haircut! Oh that little dog has me so wrapped around her finger...paw? Wait what? HAHA Seriously though , That little dog is my baby. She gets cute clothes.. and her hair all done up. ( that's what she gets for not having a baby in the house) but don't you worry your little heads friends... she loves it. I am pretty sure she loves it even more now that she is freezing all the time. Oh boo maybe I am just mean. BUT she really does bring a little umph into our house. We love that little fluffer!

BECAUSE NO POST CAN BE WITH OUT A PICTURE.. TAKE A LOOK AT NALAS SASSY NEW HAIR CUT! SOOO CUTE!

Welp, There really is a billion things more that happened in the middle of all this but like I stated at the beginning of this post.. this was a nutshell story! Hope you are all doing amazing!

Sweet temptation

Tim was recently suckered in to buying a few things from coworkers and families in the ward. I swear if you ever have a kid doing a fund raiser, go to Tim...he'll probably buy three of whatever you are selling. His recent buy..2 tubs of cookie dough! Oh sweet mercy Tim are you trying to make me fat!? How about the fact that its my favorite kind of cookie dough EVER.. I can hear my butt getting bigger every time I open the freezer for a bite of that sweet heaven!
My stars why must you be the only thing I crave all day long you blasted white chocolate cookie dough! You are torture on a day off!! I can't resist your charm and glorious taste!
So to all my friends.. don't judge me when I gain 10 pounds and look like a balloon..you'll know what its from!!
