He is perfect!

I would like to take a moment to brag about my perfect husband. I have been sick for about 2 weeks now. (Don't worry guys this is not a post where I complain the whole time) It has progressively gotten worse as the days go by. I am starting to struggle to breath with all the pressure in my chest and I am coughing almost constantly. ..But I married Superman!! Friday I got home from work and just wanted to crawl under the sheets in our bed and fall asleep... Tim got home a few hours later, could tell I still did not feel good and immediately started cleaning the dishes. ( the smell of dishes, even the littlest smell makes my stomach turn...always has) he then cleaned the living room and the bedroom, vacuumed the stairs, and shook the rugs. He is such a good helper with things but I had not even asked him to clean anything. I am sooo spoiled.

That night I kept us up all night coughing. Tim took care of me all day..Timing my medicine and making me take it as soon as my 4-6 hours was up, Bringing me water ( I have a hard time drinking water when I am sick), checking my temperature that sorta thing.. I was feeling better just still coughing and struggling to breathe all day. About 3 am the next night/morning, I woke up and Tim was awake... Apparently I had stopped breathing in my sleep and he wanted to monitor my breathing...he had stayed awake for almost 3 hours after I had fallen asleep just to make sure I was ok..superman?? I think so

Sunday we woke up early (because we have 8am church). We serve in the primary so we have a responsibility to be at church.. I woke up about every hour coughing and having to sit up to breathe. Tim would wake up with me and just hold me until I fell back to sleep.. poor boy probably only got 2 hours of sleep before he got up for church. He told me to stay and sleep while he went to church, taught our primary class, and came home with all sorts of medicines. He told me he broke the Sabbath but he wanted to try to fix things.. ...He then went downstairs, made me scrambled eggs, disappeared upstairs, came back downstairs and ate with me, gave me medicine and water (told me I had to take it right then)....then started doing the dishes. I was amazed at how quick he was doing everything. I thought to myself, " Man I have the most amazing husband!" Right as I thought that he turned over his shoulder and told me" Tri I started a bath for you babe, I put some Epsom salt in there, and don't you worry, I cleaned the tub." I literally melted! What a sweet sweet man he is and he is all mine. GOSH I AM SO LUCKY!! He brought me EmergenC in cold water and had me drink it, then he snuggled in the bed with me and played with my hair until I fell asleep. When I woke up, he said to me " Man I love you so much babe you are beautiful I want you better... please get better ." He is perfect.

I have the most amazing husband in the whole world! Not just because he takes such good care of me when I am sick, ( although that is amazing to me and quite the bonus!!!) but because he is the man he is!! Everything about Tim makes me happy! He makes me want to be a better person!! There is nobody else I would rather spend eternity with!! I am the luckiest girl alive! HE IS PERFECT!

inspiration..

Well, last week I spent the majority of my week in bed with the plague ( or maybe it was just the flu and I am being a tad on the dramatic side) anywho...I ended up bringing up my laptop and blog stalking in hopes for some amazing inspiration to the decorating block I have had since ..well... forever. I was hoping for something awesome would just pop out at me and I would fall in love with it and do it while I was on my deathbed( again...dramatic) I failed! haha I hate feeling soooo lazy!

However, I did find some pleasure in my usual blogs during my blogstalk hours...One blogger posted her brilliant idea of laundry lotto.. Since she hates folding the laundry, she created cards for a lotto type game.. One of the cards had a shirt said something like "Youre lucky" the other card said something like "folding fool".. I guess the idea of it is you make the cards and pop them in the dryer.. let that bad boy spin and then let the husband reach in and pick out one of the cards.. if he gets the folding fool card, he then has to fold all the laundry if not.. then you have to do it. I laughed so hard.. If I had a husband that did not help me whenever I needed him, I would TOTALLY do that!! oh the inspiration...and the humor!

Also, I found such a cute idea for aprons.. These are made out of old t shirts and the sleeves!! I may or may not be seriously in love with this apron. Mostly because I love anything cheap but also, I constantly wipe my hands on my pants while I cook and this would save my jeans from the grease stains and flour spots that seem to live in them.... OH I must have one!!! Grr stupid broken sewing machine how come you can fix yourself!!!!! If you have any cute ideas for cheap crafts, its safe to say I might just love you forever!!

Take me out to the ball game!!

It is finally spring, which means...BASEBALL SEASON!!! I know its probably a little weird but I really do love me some baseball!! Tim is not quite as happy or excited for baseball season but his mind was changed a little this last week when I was able to take him to his first Major League Baseball game! My boss had 2 tickets for the Diamondback vs. Pirates game. Since she could not go, she offered them to me...and who am I to tell my boss no? So, they gave us 2 tickets to a game I was dying to watch( ok dying might be a little dramatic but I really wanted to watch) I called Tim and , being the good husband that he is, decided it would be fun to go. So as soon as Tim got home, we took off to the game!!
Some nice man and his cute little boy took this picture of Tim and I sitting on the huge baseball outside the stadium.
We took this one about the 4th inning...when we started to dominate the game by 4 runs!! This is us being super happy about the lead over the other team!
But not long after our happy picture, we decided it was time for a weird picture! This was the result! hahaha

We sat 9 Rows from the field! I HAVE NEVER SAT THAT CLOSE TO ALL THE PLAYERS!! We could literally see everything. I was so excited so so so excited!!!! The people that sat next to us made the game really fun, they were ahooting and ahollerin all sorts of funny things. This lovely picture is of Co-jack ( Connor Jackson)!! Diamondbacks outfield heart-throb! haha I have to admit that he is one of my 2 favorite players on the Arizona team.. and not cuz he is good looking, just that he is incredible as a player! He caught some intense pop flys where he dove head first, rolled, and then held up the ball.
Tim had always laughed at my the joy I find in going to baseball games, but after going to one himself, he found a little love for the game too! He commented on how much different baseball was in real life than to the tv. He said he would go again with me, because real life baseball was way more exciting than anything he had watched on television...MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!! haha
After 6 innings, we had to leave early because Tim had a basketball game for church.... and not just any game, a preliminary for the championships. Our team started off a little rusty this season, but the boys have played very well and are now in the championships...Stake basketball is intense, its fun to see Tim so happy about a game. He does so well when he plays!!I think I am learning to love all sorts of sports! GO CRISMON WARD!! WOO HOO!

Day Dreaming...

Although we just took a weekend vacation to California, work has finally decided to catch up with us..BIG TIME! I have been day dreaming about an amazing vacation since we got married!! One night I got bored and was playing around online and found a smoking deal on vacations! I talked to the hubby, and he was not completely for the idea of taking 10 days off, but he promised he would take me there....eventually. Two weeks ago my parents took the younger siblings to the trip I had been dreaming about for months! A few pictures of the family in paradise and Tim was convinced it should be out turn for a late honeymoon!! We leave for Hawaii May 1st! Im sooooooo excited!

Vacation Time!!

For Tim's Birthday, I decided to take him to Six Flags because it is his "happy place". We decided it would be a Valentines/birthday present but after going we decided we don't want to have a reason for fun vacations! So when we were there we bought season tickets to the happy place so we can go WHENEVER we want! It was a long drive, and considering neither Tim nor I have any sense of direction, we borrowed my coworkers GPS. It made our trip so much more enjoyable but now that we can go all the time, we might have to invest in one of our own..

The first day we were there, we woke up to the pouring rain!! I was devastated to say the least! haha I was sure the day would be miserable in the rain. Tim being the overly positive person he is promised me the day would be worth the drive.. So we headed to Six Flags!

This picture was at the end of our weekend after roller coasters heat and adventure.
This is what we ran into when we got through the gates of rainy six flags! What an adventure!! haha this was during one of the only breaks in the rain! Since I am a 5 year old in a 21 year old's body I asked Tim if we could take pictures with the characters!

After taking pictures, we ran up the hills to this ride!! Which happens to be one of my favorite rides! ha it was the longest line we waited in the entire time, and we waited about 10 min! It was AWESOME!! Especially cuz I'm not a patient when it comes to standing in line, I would rather sit on the ground, and it was all rainy. It did smell really good though! I love the rain!

This line was the longest one in the park so we never got to ride it, but if you ever get the chance, its one of the best roller coasters in the world!

Because it was raining so hard they started to shut down rides, Tim and I decided to go back to out hotel. We bought a movie in the room and enjoyed watching ICE AGE 3! HAHAAH We then ventured out to find something to eat. We discovered this Japanese place that was probably the most delicious food I have ever had!!!! ha it was so cheap and you got to watch them cook it! They gave it to us so we could eat it in the hotel room.. we got one thing on the menu and could not finish it!! I know I know ...it looks absolutely nasty but it really was scrumptious!!

After the sun decided to come out, we went back to six flags and rode a few more rides!! Goliath is one of Tim's favorite rides. And we walked straight onto it!! I wanted to ride it a few more times but Tim said we should hit some other rides.. it did not take long to convince it was a good choice me when we started walking on every ride! I don't think I was ever so happy to be running around to roller coasters!

Tim and I had been on most of the coasters so we went on a hunt for a churro for Tim!! He kept saying how he wanted one so ... We spent 4 dollars on that overpriced piece of heaven!! Tim was ecstatic!! Hes such a sweetheart! I love him SO MUCH!

Once again I am a 5 year old in 21 year old's body... so we had to take a picture with the dancing six flags man! He was actually rather creepy.
AND....BATMAN!!! This picture is my favorite! Hahaha Batman told us to put up our dukes..and when the camera man counted to 2, Batman jumped as high as he could and screamed ATOMIC WEDGIE!!! Oh it was sooooo funny I could not stop laughing! I guess you do what you gotta do to keep the job interesting!
All in all, we had such a fun trip!! We had nothing to worry about all weekend. It was the first time we had been out of state by ourselves. I cant wait to go again!!

Things I have learned from movies.

I thought this was too funny to pass up posting.. and since I am a failure at updating our blog, I figured there was really no excuse to not share this. I believe someone sent this in an email originally, but I ran across it by accident. Enjoy!

Things we have learned from movies... 1. Large, loft-style apartments in New York City are well within the price range of most people whether they are employed or not.
2. At least one of a pair of identical twins is born evil.
3. Should you decide to defuse a bomb, don't worry which wire to cut. You will always choose the right one.
4. Most laptop computers are powerful enough to override communications system of any invading alien society.
5. It does not matter if you are heavily outnumbered in a fight involving martial arts - your enemies will wait patiently to attack you one by one by dancing around in a threatening manner until you have knocked out their predecessors.
6. When you turn out the light to go to bed, everything in your bedroom will still be clearly visible, just slightly bluish.
7. If you are blonde and pretty, it is possible to become a world expert on nuclear fission at the age of 22.
8. Honest and hard working policemen are traditionally gunned down three days before their retirement.
9. Rather than wasting bullets, megalomaniacs prefer to kill their archenemies using complicated machinery involving fuses, pulley systems, deadly gasses, lasers, and man-eating sharks, which will allow their captives at least 20 minutes to escape.
10. During all police investigations, it will be necessary to visit a strip club at least once.
11. All beds have special L-shaped cover sheets that reach up to the armpit level on a woman but only to waist level on the man lying beside her.
12. All grocery shopping bags contain at least one stick of French bread.
13. It's easy for anyone to land a plane providing there is someone in the control tower to talk you down.
14. Once applied, lipstick will never rub off even while scuba diving.
15. You're very likely to survive any battle in any war unless you make the mistake of showing someone a picture of your sweetheart back home.
16. When they are alone, all foreign military officers prefer to speak to each other in English.
17. The Eiffel Tower can be seen from any window in Paris.
18. A man will show no pain while taking the most ferocious beating but will whine when a woman tries to clean his wounds.
19. If a large pane of glass is visible, someone will be thrown through it before long.
20. If staying in a haunted house, women should investigate any strange noises in their most revealing underwear.
21. Word processors never display a cursor on screen, but will always say: "Enter Password Now".
22. Even when driving down a perfectly straight road, it is necessary to turn the steering wheel vigorously from left to right every few moments. Tires will squeal on any surface, at any speed.
23. All bombs are fitted with electronic timing devices with large red readouts so you know exactly when they're going to go off.
24. A detective can only solve a case once he has been suspended from duty.
25. If you decide to start dancing in the street, everyone you meet will know all the steps.
26. Police departments give their officers personality tests to make sure they are deliberately assigned a partner who is their total opposite.

Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious

For V-Day, Tim and I decided that we wanted to celebrate a little later. We planned out our trip and we are now awaiting our adventure to Cali in a few weeks! We also decided that for our first Valentines day as a married couple we would spend it with my friend Kyndl and her man Justin... Kyndl also happens to be my boss, so we spent a little bit of work time planning our adventure together. The boys took us to dinner where we chowed down on some delicious food!! Then it was off to Mary Poppins the musical!! I was beyond excited for it! I LOVED LOVED LOVED the play! Tim and I, Kyndl and Justin!!

This is my boss Kyndl, I love her!! No wonder I love my job, this girl is TIGHT!!!

Tim and I got a little Crazy at intermission! hahahahah I look like a creeper!!
After the show, we went to Bahama Bucks, which is Tim's new addiction! I will never argue when it comes to anything with sugar so I am loving that he has finally chosen something unhealthy to love!! hahah
All in all, it was an AMAZING night! I have the most incredible husband in the world! I am so blessed to have him!! ...... and not just cuz he buys me Bahama Bucks!! hahah
