Take me out to the ball game!!

It is finally spring, which means...BASEBALL SEASON!!! I know its probably a little weird but I really do love me some baseball!! Tim is not quite as happy or excited for baseball season but his mind was changed a little this last week when I was able to take him to his first Major League Baseball game! My boss had 2 tickets for the Diamondback vs. Pirates game. Since she could not go, she offered them to me...and who am I to tell my boss no? So, they gave us 2 tickets to a game I was dying to watch( ok dying might be a little dramatic but I really wanted to watch) I called Tim and , being the good husband that he is, decided it would be fun to go. So as soon as Tim got home, we took off to the game!!
Some nice man and his cute little boy took this picture of Tim and I sitting on the huge baseball outside the stadium.
We took this one about the 4th inning...when we started to dominate the game by 4 runs!! This is us being super happy about the lead over the other team!
But not long after our happy picture, we decided it was time for a weird picture! This was the result! hahaha

We sat 9 Rows from the field! I HAVE NEVER SAT THAT CLOSE TO ALL THE PLAYERS!! We could literally see everything. I was so excited so so so excited!!!! The people that sat next to us made the game really fun, they were ahooting and ahollerin all sorts of funny things. This lovely picture is of Co-jack ( Connor Jackson)!! Diamondbacks outfield heart-throb! haha I have to admit that he is one of my 2 favorite players on the Arizona team.. and not cuz he is good looking, just that he is incredible as a player! He caught some intense pop flys where he dove head first, rolled, and then held up the ball.
Tim had always laughed at my the joy I find in going to baseball games, but after going to one himself, he found a little love for the game too! He commented on how much different baseball was in real life than to the tv. He said he would go again with me, because real life baseball was way more exciting than anything he had watched on television...MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!! haha
After 6 innings, we had to leave early because Tim had a basketball game for church.... and not just any game, a preliminary for the championships. Our team started off a little rusty this season, but the boys have played very well and are now in the championships...Stake basketball is intense, its fun to see Tim so happy about a game. He does so well when he plays!!I think I am learning to love all sorts of sports! GO CRISMON WARD!! WOO HOO!

Day Dreaming...

Although we just took a weekend vacation to California, work has finally decided to catch up with us..BIG TIME! I have been day dreaming about an amazing vacation since we got married!! One night I got bored and was playing around online and found a smoking deal on vacations! I talked to the hubby, and he was not completely for the idea of taking 10 days off, but he promised he would take me there....eventually. Two weeks ago my parents took the younger siblings to the trip I had been dreaming about for months! A few pictures of the family in paradise and Tim was convinced it should be out turn for a late honeymoon!! We leave for Hawaii May 1st! Im sooooooo excited!

Vacation Time!!

For Tim's Birthday, I decided to take him to Six Flags because it is his "happy place". We decided it would be a Valentines/birthday present but after going we decided we don't want to have a reason for fun vacations! So when we were there we bought season tickets to the happy place so we can go WHENEVER we want! It was a long drive, and considering neither Tim nor I have any sense of direction, we borrowed my coworkers GPS. It made our trip so much more enjoyable but now that we can go all the time, we might have to invest in one of our own..

The first day we were there, we woke up to the pouring rain!! I was devastated to say the least! haha I was sure the day would be miserable in the rain. Tim being the overly positive person he is promised me the day would be worth the drive.. So we headed to Six Flags!

This picture was at the end of our weekend after roller coasters heat and adventure.
This is what we ran into when we got through the gates of rainy six flags! What an adventure!! haha this was during one of the only breaks in the rain! Since I am a 5 year old in a 21 year old's body I asked Tim if we could take pictures with the characters!

After taking pictures, we ran up the hills to this ride!! Which happens to be one of my favorite rides! ha it was the longest line we waited in the entire time, and we waited about 10 min! It was AWESOME!! Especially cuz I'm not a patient when it comes to standing in line, I would rather sit on the ground, and it was all rainy. It did smell really good though! I love the rain!

This line was the longest one in the park so we never got to ride it, but if you ever get the chance, its one of the best roller coasters in the world!

Because it was raining so hard they started to shut down rides, Tim and I decided to go back to out hotel. We bought a movie in the room and enjoyed watching ICE AGE 3! HAHAAH We then ventured out to find something to eat. We discovered this Japanese place that was probably the most delicious food I have ever had!!!! ha it was so cheap and you got to watch them cook it! They gave it to us so we could eat it in the hotel room.. we got one thing on the menu and could not finish it!! I know I know ...it looks absolutely nasty but it really was scrumptious!!

After the sun decided to come out, we went back to six flags and rode a few more rides!! Goliath is one of Tim's favorite rides. And we walked straight onto it!! I wanted to ride it a few more times but Tim said we should hit some other rides.. it did not take long to convince it was a good choice me when we started walking on every ride! I don't think I was ever so happy to be running around to roller coasters!

Tim and I had been on most of the coasters so we went on a hunt for a churro for Tim!! He kept saying how he wanted one so ... We spent 4 dollars on that overpriced piece of heaven!! Tim was ecstatic!! Hes such a sweetheart! I love him SO MUCH!

Once again I am a 5 year old in 21 year old's body... so we had to take a picture with the dancing six flags man! He was actually rather creepy.
AND....BATMAN!!! This picture is my favorite! Hahaha Batman told us to put up our dukes..and when the camera man counted to 2, Batman jumped as high as he could and screamed ATOMIC WEDGIE!!! Oh it was sooooo funny I could not stop laughing! I guess you do what you gotta do to keep the job interesting!
All in all, we had such a fun trip!! We had nothing to worry about all weekend. It was the first time we had been out of state by ourselves. I cant wait to go again!!

Things I have learned from movies.

I thought this was too funny to pass up posting.. and since I am a failure at updating our blog, I figured there was really no excuse to not share this. I believe someone sent this in an email originally, but I ran across it by accident. Enjoy!

Things we have learned from movies... 1. Large, loft-style apartments in New York City are well within the price range of most people whether they are employed or not.
2. At least one of a pair of identical twins is born evil.
3. Should you decide to defuse a bomb, don't worry which wire to cut. You will always choose the right one.
4. Most laptop computers are powerful enough to override communications system of any invading alien society.
5. It does not matter if you are heavily outnumbered in a fight involving martial arts - your enemies will wait patiently to attack you one by one by dancing around in a threatening manner until you have knocked out their predecessors.
6. When you turn out the light to go to bed, everything in your bedroom will still be clearly visible, just slightly bluish.
7. If you are blonde and pretty, it is possible to become a world expert on nuclear fission at the age of 22.
8. Honest and hard working policemen are traditionally gunned down three days before their retirement.
9. Rather than wasting bullets, megalomaniacs prefer to kill their archenemies using complicated machinery involving fuses, pulley systems, deadly gasses, lasers, and man-eating sharks, which will allow their captives at least 20 minutes to escape.
10. During all police investigations, it will be necessary to visit a strip club at least once.
11. All beds have special L-shaped cover sheets that reach up to the armpit level on a woman but only to waist level on the man lying beside her.
12. All grocery shopping bags contain at least one stick of French bread.
13. It's easy for anyone to land a plane providing there is someone in the control tower to talk you down.
14. Once applied, lipstick will never rub off even while scuba diving.
15. You're very likely to survive any battle in any war unless you make the mistake of showing someone a picture of your sweetheart back home.
16. When they are alone, all foreign military officers prefer to speak to each other in English.
17. The Eiffel Tower can be seen from any window in Paris.
18. A man will show no pain while taking the most ferocious beating but will whine when a woman tries to clean his wounds.
19. If a large pane of glass is visible, someone will be thrown through it before long.
20. If staying in a haunted house, women should investigate any strange noises in their most revealing underwear.
21. Word processors never display a cursor on screen, but will always say: "Enter Password Now".
22. Even when driving down a perfectly straight road, it is necessary to turn the steering wheel vigorously from left to right every few moments. Tires will squeal on any surface, at any speed.
23. All bombs are fitted with electronic timing devices with large red readouts so you know exactly when they're going to go off.
24. A detective can only solve a case once he has been suspended from duty.
25. If you decide to start dancing in the street, everyone you meet will know all the steps.
26. Police departments give their officers personality tests to make sure they are deliberately assigned a partner who is their total opposite.

Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious

For V-Day, Tim and I decided that we wanted to celebrate a little later. We planned out our trip and we are now awaiting our adventure to Cali in a few weeks! We also decided that for our first Valentines day as a married couple we would spend it with my friend Kyndl and her man Justin... Kyndl also happens to be my boss, so we spent a little bit of work time planning our adventure together. The boys took us to dinner where we chowed down on some delicious food!! Then it was off to Mary Poppins the musical!! I was beyond excited for it! I LOVED LOVED LOVED the play! Tim and I, Kyndl and Justin!!

This is my boss Kyndl, I love her!! No wonder I love my job, this girl is TIGHT!!!

Tim and I got a little Crazy at intermission! hahahahah I look like a creeper!!
After the show, we went to Bahama Bucks, which is Tim's new addiction! I will never argue when it comes to anything with sugar so I am loving that he has finally chosen something unhealthy to love!! hahah
All in all, it was an AMAZING night! I have the most incredible husband in the world! I am so blessed to have him!! ...... and not just cuz he buys me Bahama Bucks!! hahah

Should we stay or should we go now!

Tim and I were recently offered a summer sales job for a growing company run out of Utah. The company's CEO is an area General Authority for Salt Lake and a member of the 70 so it was obvious to us that the company was in good hands and we would be taken care of. The idea of moving somewhere we have never been before was nerve racking yet intriguing to the both of us. I was completely against quitting our jobs and leaving our comfortable and secure life behind for a job that promised nothing...but figured I would give it a chance.
We met with our recruiter Paul for a short briefing about the company and the plans for this summer. I went into the meeting with a hard heart and a negative attitude. The first thing I told Paul was that I was against the idea and was only attending the meeting for the free ice cream! We talked and voiced our concerns and opinions of the job and against all odds, Paul convinced me that being a part of the summer team would be a good thing for us. Long story short, our once negative idea was turned around and we had to begin our search for an answer on what would be best for our family....
After many prayers, fasting, frustration, and loads of stress, Tim and I received our answer. We realized we have been SO blessed with the things we have in our life. We felt that if we took the summer job that we would, in a sense, ungrateful for the things that we have been given so far in our lives as a married couple. We have declined the summer job and decided to stay here in good ol' Arizona. We have amazing jobs, free schooling, a wonderful house, an incredible ward, the most terrific friends, and sensational families!! How could we give all that up for what MIGHT happen in a summer sales job?

New Years 2009

This year, Tim and I decided to get him out of his comfort zone and shake things up a little bit, and by a little I mean, A LOT! My older brother Josh and his wife Emma planned a huge Latin style dance party. Somehow, I talked Tim into taking me and I worried that he would be too uncomfortable with people he did not know and that did not speak much English. I was WAY wrong! We got there early ( which was really almost an hour late but on Latin time thats early) so Emma and Josh took the liberty of showing us how to do some of the more traditional style dances. In my head, I was thinking " Tim is going to kill me for this!" We picked it up relatively
quickly and I was thrilled when Tim let out his first big laugh of the night. ( I knew he would have fun after that) The people there were so sweet, we made friends with them REALLY fast and we were not allowed to sit and do nothing!! They would grab out hands and say "Time to dance! Its time to party!!"Here are a few of the pictures from the night, I figured they would retell the stories better than me explaining them!

Before all the dancing and sweaty night began. I love Tim in this picture! He's such a cute boy!
Joshy and I ( This is out of sequence, its at the end of the night but oh well)
Tim and I were learning how to do the dance known as SALSA!! Our form was off but we are new to the latin style sexy dance.. dont judge us! hahahaha look at Tim shaking his hips! He did SO well!!! Candid Shots !! Ha I LOVED seeing him shake it!

Getting ready to ring in the new year, haha I love Tims face in this, haha the flash was blinding him!
Josh bought us poppers, they made a HUGE mess with everyone popping them but it was super fun to dance in the mess!
Goodbye 2009 you've been so good to us, Hello 2010 lets be friends!!

Tim and I had an amazing time dancing and speding time with Josh and Emma! We agreed that this was easily one of the funnest times that we shared together! I love my husband!
